The Data Privacy Act is a necessity to protect the personal information of individuals. It is important that UP Employees will be able to effectively apply the Data Privacy Principles in their respective workplaces. The different functions enshrined in the varied offices in UP Diliman require their careful application of data privacy in significant ways crafted to suit their office functions and realized only when they fully understand the concepts of the law in consonance with their actual duties. The execution and implementation of this law lies in the employees’ observance and compliance imposed by the Data Privacy Act.
