OPEN UP COURSES
What are self-directed courses?
Self-directed courses are asynchronous online lessons designed to empower learners to take control of their own learning journey. These courses are accessible to participants for approximately 60 days. Throughout their enrollment period, learners are encouraged to proactively plan the amount of time and energy they are willing to dedicate to completing each course.

What is the process for enrolling in these courses?
What are the key steps to successfully completing the enrolled course?
Participants will undergo a combination of formative and summative assessments to assess the quality of their learning. Summative exams determine whether a participant passes or fails the enrolled course. To pass, participants must achieve a score of at least 60% in the summative exam. Only those who pass the course will be eligible to receive a certificate of completion. Certificates of completion will be released one week after the conclusion of the course intake season.
Following the calculation of average ratings, participants with the highest grades during the intake season will receive special rewards and certificates from HRDO
