What a meaningful and joy-filled day as we honored the accomplishments of our Skills Training and Enhancement Program for UP Diliman (STEP UP) on Housekeeping NC II Program graduates! The event kicked off with a warm lunch buffet and a moment of silent prayer, followed by the singing of the National Anthem that filled the room with pride.

Chancellor Edgardo Carlo L. Vistan II set the tone with heartfelt opening remarks, expressing deep gratitude to the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority–National Capital Region (TESDA–NCR) for the invaluable partnership. Emotions soared as an audio-visual presentation played, showcasing powerful testimonials from participants—sharing what they learned and how the training helped them grow, all while extending their sincere thanks to the the Human Resource Development Office (HRDO), TESDA, their very supportive supervisors, and fellow trainees.

The highlight of the day was the Graduation Proper, where each graduate was proudly awarded their certificate by HRDO Deputy Director Kristian July R. Yap, HR Planning and Research Division Chief Administrative Officer Rogelio T. Estrada Jr., HR Development and Benefits Division Officer-in-Charge Wifredo M. Delfinado, Jr., and TESD Specialist II Melanie M. Dajan. As each name was called, the graduates’ personal commitments were read aloud, marking their dedication to continue embodying excellence in their work. They were also given a special pin as a token of their achievement.

Vidal from the Cesar E. A. Virata School of Business. Their stories of overcoming fear, boosting confidence, building camaraderie, and learning valuable skills and time management deeply resonated with the audience.

TESD Specialist II Dajan, our Learning Service Provider from the TESDA Women’s Center, shared her journey with the trainees—from initial worries to heartfelt admiration. She praised their discipline, humility, and perseverance, especially during the challenging National Assessment.

To cap off the celebration, HR Planning and Research Division Chief Estrada delivered uplifting closing remarks that left everyone smiling, proud, and hopeful for more opportunities to come.

✨ Congratulations to all our graduates! You’ve truly stepped up and shone brightly! Here’s to continued learning, teamwork, and service excellence! ✨
