𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: The new employees of UP Diliman participated in the SIBOL Orientation.
A total of eighty-five (85) new employees of UP Diliman participated in the first batch of SIBOL Orientation for New Employees. The orientation aims to onboard the new employees as they embark on their journey as University employees.
The orientations on March 18 and 19 were held online via Zoom, while face-to-face activities took place at the UP Diliman School of Economics on March 20, 2024, lasting fourteen (14) hours in total.
Twenty-eight (28) units, government agencies, and Learning Service Providers were invited to present their services that new employees may avail of. On the last day, March 20, 2024, twenty (20) booths were set up in the hallway of the School of Economics to accommodate inquiries and offer services for new employees, including PhilHealth, GSIS, Pag-IBIG, University Health Service, and the Diliman Information Office, among others.
At the conclusion of the program, Chancellor Edgardo Carlo L. Vistan III delivered a message to the participants, highlighting the aspirations and goals of the University of the Philippines in our endeavors. Our dream of molding exemplary citizens and leaders, and the collective creation of knowledge towards a just, equitable, and prosperous society, will guide employees in each step we take.
In demonstrating our Honor, Excellence, and Service in Nation Building, let us continue to uphold the spirit of being part of an institution that cares for the nation and its people.
We would like to thank all the new employees who participated in the program. We extend our appreciation to all twenty-eight (28) units and government agencies for dedicating their effort and time to present their services to new employees. We also express gratitude to the Campus Maintenance Office for the stage design and UP School of Economics of hosting the event.
