UPD Employees Experience Ginhawa via Webinar

The webinar Ginhawa sa Panahon ng Pandemya: Enhancing Mental Health and Well-being concluded last October 8 and 9, with over 96 UP Diliman employees attending the web-based lecture and live discussion via Zoom. The webinar was presented by the Human Resource Development Office (HRDO), in partnership with the Diliman Psychosocial Services (PsycServ).

PsycServ Director Dr. Violeta V. Bautista, Ph.D discussed the Mental Health Challenges and Importance of Wellness and Wellbeing in the New Normal, while Associate Professor Dr. Divine Love A. Salvador, Ph.D (for day 1) and Associate Professor Dr. Anna Cristina A. Tuazon, Pyc.D (for day 2) discussed the different strategies to experiencing ginhawa.

Attendees also joined two breakout sessions facilitated by the PsycServ team, where their thoughts, ideas, common experiences, and recommendations were shared and processed. HRDO Deputy Director Arthur Gonzales III welcomed the participants and assured the support of HRDO management to UPD employees. In addition to the lectures provided by the resource speakers, attendees were able to participate in live poll questions and send their queries during the Q&A portion.

48 employees from the academic offices joined on October 8, while another 48 employees from administrative offices participated on October 9.
Employees who have finished their post-program evaluation will also be receiving their certificate of participation via email.
