HRDO Holds Productive Dialogue on Financial Processes
The Human Resource Development Office (HRDO) conducted the second batch of its 2024 Consultative Dialogue on June 5 and 6, 2024, from 1 PM to 5 PM. The program serve as a platform to gather valuable insights and feedback from university stakeholders, fostering collaboration and a shared sense of responsibility for UP Diliman's growth and development.
The sessions, attended by 262 participants including unit heads, administrative officers, and REPS from UP Diliman units, focused on the financial processes in the University. The program provided opportunities for participants to learn about the unit and services offered by the Diliman Accounting Office (DAO), Diliman Budget Office (DBO), and Diliman Cash Office (DCO). Representatives from the said offices presented the latest updates, processes, recent circulars and any changes concerning financial procedures within the university. In addition, the BULSA developers were also invited to discuss about the platform's recent updates and future development plans for BULSA.
A key aspect of the program was the dedicated Q&A segment. Participants actively engaged by raising questions and voicing their concerns regarding financial processes. This interactive exchange ensured everyone gained a clear understanding of the presented information and other issues or concerns related to financial processes.
The HRDO extends its gratitude to Director Cecilia J. Morales of DAO, Director Antonio M. Becoñado Jr. of DBO, Director Arlene A. Romero of DCO, and Professor Eugene Rex L. Jalao of BULSA system for their contributions to the program. Their participation helped facilitate open communication and transparency, which are essential for good governance within the university.
